Nouns are words that identify people, places, things, and ideas.

Here are some examples of nouns:

Concrete Nouns

Concrete nouns refer to people and things that can be touched, seen, heard, smelled, or tasted, e.g. cats, oceans, songs, trees.

Abstract Nouns

Abstract nouns refer to ideas or qualities that can't be seen or touched, e.g. sadness, time, wisdom.
