Will Virtual Beta Reader store my data?
Your data is safe with us. We don’t use your text to train any of our algorithms.
How does Virtual Beta Reader use AI?
When you use Virtual Beta Reader, it creates an on-demand developmental analysis of your writing. It does this by analyzing your text using AI that has been trained to give feedback as though it is a beta reader.
Your data is safe with us. We never use your writing to train the AI (or any of our algorithms).
Does Virtual Beta Reader work for any type of manuscript?
Virtual Beta Reader can handle manuscripts up to 300,000 words. You may find the most value when using it for fiction. For optimal results, we suggest manuscripts of at least 4,000 words with chapter titles. Please note that analysis may be unsuccessful for texts incorporating hateful, harassing, or sexually explicit content. We cannot process manuscripts that contain Child Sexual Abuse Material or Sensitive Personally Identifiable Information.
Is Virtual Beta Reader designed to replace human readers?
Virtual Beta Reader is not meant to replace a human beta reader or developmental editor. Its purpose is to offer immediate feedback so you can see how well your writing is coming along before sharing your story with human beta readers and editors.
