The journey of authorhood has changed my life in so many ways that I could have never imagined! Since publishing my book, I've had some big media wins, like being featured on NASDAQ, The Wall Street Journal, and Business Insider. I was also invited to be a keynote speaker for my alma mater's graduation ceremony. Business-wise, my speaking fee has quadrupled, and I've been able to transition my work to be seasonal instead of year-round, which gives me a better work-life balance. As a first-time author, I was starting from scratch. And Stacy met me there, exactly where I was, with nothing short of kindness and curiosity. I started with a title and a first line. And a sense that there was something in the seams of storytelling and business. A jumble of ideas in my head: Why do some ideas travel? Why do some strategies stick? Why do some products work while others end up in landfills? It was more fog than form. Certainly not a book. Then: Stacy. Most of it was necessary. Page by page, idea by idea, the mess of ideas took form.
