Madison Estes writes horror and dark fantasy. Her short story "Pestilence" made the Bram Stoker Recommended Reading list and her mother's official "Nope" list. Her work often revolves around villainous protagonists or heroines struggling with bizarre moral dilemmas. She is the editor of "Road Kill: Texas Horror by Texas Writers Vol. 6." She has taught horror writing courses at The Writing Barn and the Durham Writing Group. Madison also runs a hybrid authortube/horrortube channel where she posts writing advice videos, writing vlogs, and horror reviews.
Jacklyn Baker is a Texas transplant in Minnesota, hoping to survive her first real winter. Her short stories appear in volumes two, three, six, and seven of Road Kill: Texas Horror by Texas Writers. Her first foray into sci-fi “The True Story of Horse Creek Trail” will be in the upcoming retro horror anthology, The Day the Earth Almost Abruptly Ended. When not writing, she can be found acting in cheesy movies via Saint Euphoria Pictures.

His most recent title, The Halloween in Me, was just published by Fawkes Press and he is the co-creator and executive editor of the Lone Star State's premier annual horror anthology, Road Kill: Texas Horror by Texas Writers . . . which is now in its ninth iteration. His other titles include Pendulum Grim, Nature Calls, The Amulet, A Dark White Postscript, and Tarry Tornado. A Kirkus reviewer recently called his work “first-rate, thinking person's horror writing.”
Mario E. Martinez has been published in numerous magazines and anthologies, including the Along the River series and the Road Kill: Texas Horror by Texas Writers series. His works have also been featured on the Chilling Tales for Dark Nights podcast. He is the author of San Casimiro, Texas: Short Stories, A Pig Named Orrenius & Other Strange Tales, Ashtree, NEO-Laredo, The Glowing Pigs of El Cenizo, and The Chickens That Are Not Her Chickens. He lives somewhere in South Texas.
