How do I install the extension for Windows?
The above installer will install ProWritingAid both for Word and Outlook. If you’ve already installed the Word extension, Outlook is already available and you won’t need to repeat these steps.
However, if you have not yet installed the ProWritingAid extension for Word, here’s how to install the extension for both Word and Outlook:
Click the button above to download the extension for Windows.
Ensure Microsoft Outlook and Word are shut down (the Windows extension installer will automatically install for Word as well)
Double-click the “ProWritingAidsetup.exe” file you just downloaded to run it.
Follow the installer prompts, then start Microsoft Outlook after completion. You should now see a ProWritingAid option available in the toolbar.
Log in to your ProWritingAid account when prompted after running your first report.
Is the Outlook extension available on Mac?
The Outlook extension is not currently available on Mac.
Does the Outlook extension require an internet connection to work?
Yes, to check your document and provide corrections, the ProWritingAid extension must have a working internet connection. It cannot work while offline.
Is it secure for me to check emails with the Outlook extension?
