Senior Manager, Lifecycle Marketing

With over 2 million users, we're looking for a senior lifecycle manager to lead our customer lifecycle marketing activities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy, execution, measurement, and reporting for customer lifecycle marketing activities.
  • Develop junior members of the lifecycle team.
  • Your main focus will be to onboard and reduce the time to value for our customers and nurture them into successful writers through the ProWritingAid tool (Strategic initiatives for each stage of the customer journey - onboarding, engagement and retention.)
  • Build email, push and in-app blast and trigger campaigns.
  • Manage campaign launches (calendar, segmentation, approval, QA and testing)
  • Identify key, measurable metrics (upsell, churn, etc.) for lifecycle activities encompassing a growth mindset with the ability to test and scale rapidly.
  • Work with data analysts to develop propensity models allowing us to give the right value to the right customers at the right time.
  • Develop actionable reporting, monitor and report on email, push, and in-app campaign performance to understand the effectiveness of strategies for improving essential engagement and activation metrics.
  • Create an email, push, and in-app communication calendar that aligns with growth, product, and marketing teams.

Experience

We'll love you if you have:

  • You have at least 4 years of lifecycle / CRM marketing (email, push, in-app) experience
  • Have a customer first mindset and a consultative approach to problem solving
  • You are analytic and data driven with demonstrated ability to understand key performance drivers and turn insights into actionable and successful tactics. You know how to dig into data to make informed decisions.
  • A proven track record of delighting customers and creating successful marketing campaigns aimed at customers.
  • You have experience using tools such as Iterable, Braze, Google Analytics, Figma, Litmus, Asana, Slite, Notion.
  • Deep knowledge of the entire email ecosystem and best practices, including responsive HTML emails, templates and landing pages.
  • You understand the importance of tracking users throughout the funnel and can implement best practices to do so.
  • You have experience managing team members and working within multifunctional teams.
  • Excellent written and oral communication in English.

Hours of work

40 hours/week. Please note that we are a fully-remote company so all applicants must be prepared to work independently from their own space. You can work from wherever (and whenever) you are happiest.
