At ProWritingAid, our mission is to help people become better writers so they can share their ideas, stories, and knowledge, whether at work, school or home.
Words shape the world, and we have a unique opportunity to help shape and improve those words. If you love inspiring, educating, and helping people, then this is the right place for you.
We're a 100% remote team spread across more than 15 countries brought together by a love of language. By focusing on sustainable growth and the happiness of our team, we've been in business for over 9 years and are proudly bootstrapped.
Everybody writes at work. ProWritingAid Business delivers world-leading grammar, spelling and style checking to corporate teams and organisations.
We generate leads from a wide range of sources and marketing operations. Your job will be to filter, qualify and nurture leads, contributing to increased sales. This role is pivotal in helping build and manage a growing pipeline of opportunities with potential clients.
Master the sales pipeline, being responsible for qualifying and nurturing many of the leads.
Be first point of contact for all inbound leads, determining next steps for each.
Respond to RFQs (requests for quotes).
Support the sales and marketing teams on outbound and lead generation strategies.
Manage resellers - providing quotes, handling sales and setting up user licenses.
Work with finance to make sure all sales are invoiced.
Maintain the sales pipeline and contact database in Hubspot.
Conduct research to identify new lead targets and monitor competitive advantage.
Collaborate with the sales, marketing, product and development teams.
As you grow, the role will grow. There will be opportunities to take on larger customer leads and specialise within business development, account management or customer success.
At ProWritingAid, we find collaboration, creativity and resilience are key qualities that help our team mates flourish.
You should have a minimum of a year's experience in a customer-facing SDR or similar sales role.
Excellent communication skills are critical. Calling, talking and writing to customers as well as social messaging should be second nature to you: you should be a natural relationship builder.
You should be familiar with working in a Saas or similar fast-paced agile business.
You will need to be willing to make mistakes. Team members at PWA are always willing to learn, whether from colleagues or coaches.
You will have worked as part of a team (possibly remotely) but are used to managing your own day-to-day workload.
Everyone at ProWritingAid has an interest in good writing and clear communication.
