If you are unsatisfied with your ProWritingAid yearly or lifetime paid plan, please contact us within three days of purchase at hello@prowritingaid.com to request a refund. Please note that canceling your subscription will not automatically generate a refund—you’ll still need to contact us within three days.

Refunds are not possible for monthly paid plans. If you would like to stop future payments, you can do this at any time by going to your user profile and turning off auto-renew.

Purchases of Story Credits are nonrefundable. However, if you have purchased Story Credits at the same time as a new subscription and cancel your subscription under the three-day money-back guarantee, we will refund you for any unused credits.

With ProWritingAid, your work is absolutely secure.

We never keep your work or any text entered into our editor. We run thousands of analysis requests every day. The data is encrypted and sent to our servers to be processed, but it is never stored on these servers.

Your documents are created and uploaded to your account, but you are the only one who has access to them.

Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time by going to your account and clicking "Cancel subscription." Your account will remain active until the renewal date.

With a ProWritingAid Premium Pro license, you unlock higher usage limits for extended editing features, including Chapter Critique, Creative Nudges, and Sparks. You also unlock our best prices for Story Credits, which provide in-depth analysis of your whole manuscript.

Yes. Our licenses are for individual users, so as long as you’re the only person using the account, you can install ProWritingAid on several computers. However, if other people are using a shared computer, they will need to buy their own license.

With a free account, you will only receive suggestions for 500 words at a time. With a Premium or Premium Pro license, you can use ProWritingAid with documents of any length.

Currently, ProWritingAid is only available in English. This includes General English, British English, US English, Australian English, and Canadian English.

Yes. If you purchase a monthly or annual Premium or Premium Pro license, your purchase will renew automatically on the date of your initial purchase using the card you have on file.

Our lifetime licenses are a one-time payment, so once purchased, you will not be charged again.
