ProWritingAid’s users come in many flavors, from best-selling authors to indie writers, from professional copy-editors to rookie bloggers, and from business experts to struggling students.
We are looking for a positive, enthusiastic and dedicated social media manager to manage and grow our social media channels. The right candidate will love coming up with creative ways to engage with communities on social media. They will know where writers hang out online and what makes them tick. They will be full of ideas to make our social channels engaging, respectful and fun places for writers.
You will create and monitor organic campaigns across our social channels, including Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Quora, LinkedIn, Medium and others. These will include blog posts, online events, memes, competitions, skill-development and much more.
You will foster relationships online with ProWritingAid users and influencers, actively engage with members of the ProWritingAid blog and Facebook group, and engage in external writing communities as a champion for ProWritingAid. You will also monitor mentions of ProWritingAid across the internet and engage where appropriate.
You will work closely with our Content Lead to develop social engagement activities to extend the reach of our exceptional content and online events. You will also feed into the content creation calendar to create content that will resonate on social.
We are passionate about language and believe that it is an essential component for communicating ideas, stories and knowledge. We believe good ideas are intrinsically entwined with the words used to express them.
You will have demonstrable experience creating high-performing social content, including graphics and videos.
